Two 10 x 10 yd. grids are placed side by side (use 12 x 12 yd. if the technical ability calls for it). The normal rules of 5v2 apply except that after four passes, the players may transition into the other grid. They do not have to play into the other grid after the fourth pass. This is where the tactical implications come in to play. The player that loses the ball becomes one of the two defenders and the game resumes.
