In this exercise, players are paired and placed into diagonally opposite corners of a w section grid. They are given a task to complete before they can advance to the next section (always moving clockwise). The task may vary with the level of player. Some examples are head to partners head and head back to catch (head-head-catch); volley-volley-catch; head-volley-catch; and so on. Be creative and cater to your players ability. It may be a toss-head-catch for lower level players or a head-volley-volley-head-catch for an advanced group. The players receive a point when the can get into the same section of the other pair by advancing while the other team fails to advance sections.
