This simple exercise involves 6 players and 8 cones. Build a 30 X 30 yd. grid with four cones and a 2 yd. wide diamond in the middles of it with the four remaining cones. Place two players on two cones that are diagonally opposite. On the other two cones, place two players each and one ball each. The first player in the two lines with the ball dribbles at the diamond and then plays a pass (cut back pass) to the player to the left of him or her. That player takes the first touch forward and dribbles at the diamond. The rotates to the cone they passed the ball to (remember to switch directions half way through in order to work with both feet). The exercise progresses (when the players in the video turn yellow) and the player that passes the ball becomes a passive defender for the player to take on.
