Divide your team into teams of four. Place your goalkeeper in the net and use a fourth color to place a target on the field (you can use two targets if you play in a two forward system or need to give the attackers a greater numerical advantage). A team of four is placed in a flat back four with an opposing target forward to start the exercise. An attacking team of four must play the target to begin and then attack five against four. When the ball is put out of bounds or a goal is scored, the attacking team becomes the defenders and a new group of four plays the target to attack them. The former defending team gets off the field at a touch line as quickly as possible and then heads to the other half to be ready to attack.
