For this exercise, you will need two teams of 11. One is situated in a 4-4-2 and the other in a 4-3-3. I chose these formations as the team I am working with plays in a 4-3-3 and the majority of their opponents utilize a 4-4-2. It is more of a conditioned scrimmage as one team is working on playing out of the back (4-3-3 blue team in video). The other team (4-4-2 red team in video) scores by hitting the ball to the goalkeeper (this will ensure a number of reps for the team trying to play out of the back). Place a line at the bottom of the circle. Every time the red team score a goal by finding their opponents goalkeeper, they must come back and touch the line before they can pressure. The exception to this rule is the two forwards that can pressure straight away but must stay connected. The blue team attempts to play out of this pressure and go to goal. If they score a normal goal, they receive 3 points. (Video is best if viewed in full screen mode)
