Emma Hayes was (at the time of this video) the assistant manager of Arsenal Ladies and now is the head coach of Chicago Red Star of the WPS. This is one of my personal all-time favorite sessions of the NSCAA Convention.

Excellent session.The simplicity is what makes it so good.
We ran this session last night with our U-11 girls team. The final results were fantastic. It takes a bit of patience but when they caught on it was great. Tons of good concepts packed into a progressive activity.

Simply put, these are passing squares. Very effective drill.
I have seen a lot of drills in soccer, but i can say that this is the best and simplest drill that I’ve seen. Because the players in the soccer game do nothing but thees movement.
