Player (A) on the center cone checks away and then check back to receive the ball from players (B) in the other line. Player A plays one touch pass back, then makes a diagonal run to one of the outside cones to receive a pass from player B. Player A then immediately goes to goal. Everything is done at pace. If player B cannot play a ball right away because player A has not gotten around the cone yet, then the player must dribble towards the middle cone (treat it as a defender) and lay off the ball between the cones. This exercise also works on finding the seams instead of playing the players feet, as well as the weight of the pass.
