A very simple passing and receiving exercise that I saw the La Galaxy doing. A player checks off the cone to either their right or their left to dictate where the ball is to be played. Then the player takes his or her first touch out from feet while the player on the other cone checks to dictate which side of the cone the pass is going to. With the second touch the ball is passed to the other lines player and then the passer follows his pass to the rear of the other line. Challenge the players to drive hard passes in to improve passing and receiving more weighted balls.
